The Election

“This is the fiction that we live in. This is why our situation feels so schizophrenic. Of course as we go through this presidential election the contradictions are heightened almost to the point off nausea because what is under discussion is what manner of fine-tuning shall be applied to the social machinery in order to make it possible to hold together the illusion of business as usual – and the answer is there is no such fine-tuning, it’s all finished. Instead what is needed is a radical openness to new ideas of all sorts.” – Terence McKenna

This is indeed the fiction we live.  As Novemember approaches, less than 50% of Americans will be casting the vote for the Puppet of the United States of America - Commander-in-Chief of the Status Quo and the machinery of enslavement.  Oh sweet Nausea, i salute thee.

We are left with the ultimate choice – a choice no different than the choice between the the grande mocha frap and the grande caramel frap.  The future of the country – the country that has come to embody human progress and values of “freedom” - is left to the best circumlocutious liars and backstabbers in a nation of sheep.

There were days the status quo could be escaped by going to live on the farm – and indeed, we can still escape, in some ways, by going to live on the pharm.  But hear me now, the status quo has taken the farm and it will take the pharm.  The soma of the vedas becomes the soma of Huxley’s worst nightmare.

This is the fiction that we live in.

The Time is Now

If there is anything we can learn from the recent liquidity/sub-prime crisis it is this:

Police New York 03The time is now to question the authority of the state.  Anthropology tells us that as our population grew we turned from the tribe to the chief, then later the state to organize us, protect us from each other and, redistribute our wealth.   All the while, the leaders have disarmed the populace, drugged the masses, maintained an information monopoly and always skimmed more than is fair from the top.  The most dangerous thing we have done to jeapordize our freedom has been allowing the nation-state to dictate issues of buying and selling.  It is quite clear that the moment you let the government dictate issues of buying and selling it allows that government and its officials to be likewise bought and sold.  This is no more apparent than in the federal reserve and its gestapo, the IRS, who are literally stealing from dollar denominated bank accounts daily by devaluing the dollar, stealing the fruits of the american workforce, and manipulating the global economy in line with narrow interests.  The free market is under attack, and thus freedom - in every sense of the word – is likewise under attack!

New York's Liberty Island - Statue Of Liberty & Seagull

We have evolved along with this process of socio-political organization and now we need to evolve beyond it.  We no longer need a state to organize us and we no longer need a state to prevent us from killing each other.  The evolution of social organization has reached its apex because man has evolved beyond the animal.  We see this now because we demand equal rights (but not unearned equality in status) and a voice in government affairs.  We see this now because we will not stand for information monopolies.  We see this now in the complete decentralization of authority.

Businesses are flattening organization structures to adapt to changes more rapidly while peer to peer communication has used decentralization to maintain autonomy of the individual and resist the grip of control.  Soon society will begin to mimic these patterns.  And so the time of the state is over and McKenna’s archaic revival is upon us.

Life, liberty, and property were the values that brought together a small band of loosely allied peoples and developed them into the United States of America, most powerful nation in the history of mankind.  This grand nation is now under attack by enemies both foreign and domestic.  And it simply because the founders forgot one basic value – an omission that is bringing the entire world to its knees.  The founding fathers overlooked the freedom of consciousness and thus gave up that which makes us human, and thus that which makes us truly free.

Nomad´s ReturnThe time is now to see through propaganda and social programming, to see through our own neurosis, to see through meaningless issues and embrace values that resonate with what it means to be a human that has left the animal behind – the values of the Ubermensch and the values of transhuman destiny.  It is time to turn our backs on increasing organization and control from above because we have control from within and an innate motivation for organization borne through peaceful interaction,  a caveat no longer necessitated by state mandated coexistence and disarmament.  So we come full circle as the democratic nation state must face its darwinian fate while the anarcho-capitalist neo-tribals take root.  These modern tribals of personally and digitally connected autonomous social units have arrived because there exists within us all the nomad soul and we shall never settle, never stop moving and never stop progressing through the evolution of our collective state of mind.
